JEDD is the best known and most respected police artist of modern times. Jedd, John Edwards, retired as a Detective Inspector with the West Midlands Police after 25 years service. Although he had developed a reputation as an artist while still a police officer, Jedd embarked on a new career as a full-time artist with great enthusiasm. His work featured in every issue of POLICE magazine for many years.

He has followed the theme of Lawson Wood's 'Nine Pints of the Law' with the 'Nine Half Pints of The Law' print and various others such as medical, cooks, farmers, baristers, firefighters, anglers, rugby players, golfers, actors, bowls players and cricketers
